PROVISION OF COVID-19 MOBILE TESTING FACILITIES
Nigerian e-health startup 54gene has partnered with First City Monument Bank (FCMB), the Ogun State Government, Àrgentil Capital Partners, and others to launch its first COVID-19 mobile laboratory. This initiative aims to expand testing across Nigeria quickly. The 40-foot mobile lab, built with container technology, offers a plug-and-play feature that eliminates the need for shipping samples elsewhere, reducing turnaround times for test results. It is fully equipped with vital instruments like autoclaves, biosafety cabinets, centrifuges, and PCR machines, enabling swift and accurate COVID-19 testing.
